Carr House Farm B&B is ideally located to visit near by Helmsley (just 6 miles away), or wander round historic York (18 miles); whilst delighting in the knowledge that on your return you can sit and relax in the garden and watch the little birds going about their daily routine. Carr House Farm is in both the North York Moors National Park and the AONB of the Howardian Hills.

We are so lucky to have such talented artists across North Yorkshire . These are some of my favourites. You are able to visit their workshops and buy their creations. Handblown glass from Gillies Jones in Rosedale, handmade walking sticks from The Stick Man in Helmsley and of course the famous Mouseman of Kilburn who is only 4 miles from here.

Jack enjoys working his Labradors and cocker spaniels. Sometimes there are puppies for you to enjoy as well as opportunity to take one of the adult dogs for a walk. He is a walking weathervane.
Anna tries to garden, loves to be near the water. Good job there are streams and waterfalls to sit besides.These are there for you to enjoy too. Long table dinners and entertaining is another of her passions so look forward to having treats left out for you. Anna is also a great story teller, no wonder she is writing a book .
