- Free range eggs, ready dressed ducks and geese from Dick Todds in Ampleforth / 01439 788280
- Kippers from Fortunes of Whitby / 01947 601659 / www.fortuneskippers.co.uk / established in 1872. We have room in our fridge you can put them until you go home. They are delicious.
- Steak pies and fruit cakes (good local baker). Auntie Anne's in Helmsley / 01439 770304 / in Castlegate behind the cafe on the way to the Castle.
- Cider and brandy liquer available from Ampleforth Abbey -they have a lovely tea room too
